Fine Giugno/Luglio ci siam regalati un weekendone immersi nella Lavanda ma per arrivarci abbiamo scelto un percorso assai tortuoso. L'ultimo tratto comprende le Gorge de Daluis, che si son confermate all'altezza della fama: spettacolari.
Fatte qualche anno fa, belle anche se non troppo lunghe.
Il muretto laterale piuttosto basso e l'altezza considerevole ha piegato le gambe di Veronica mentre guardava giù
Molto belle anche le vicine e rossastre Gorges du Cians. L'avete fatte?

Le Cians, sono però diverse, in alcuni punti la traccia è più stretta, frequentemente sporca, però c'è un vecchio tratto del tracciato, non più percorribile in moto ma a piedi, dove si arriva quasi a toccare con le mani la parete opposta, son più simili alle nostre Forra di Tremosine o Val d'Ega.
Vero che i tratti più spettacolari si riducono a qualche km ma questo consente il .... Perpetuum Mobile ... avanti e 'ndre ... a sazietà (ti sazi subito se hai la moglie sul sellino posteriore :huh:
incredibile quanto sia rossa la roccia di quelle montagne.
Sempre affascinante la Francia. Queste gole mi... mancano. Ce ne sono così tante!

Gorges de Daluis, gorges du Cians, Gorges du Loup, Route Napoleon, tratto meridionale della Route des Grandes Alpes, le Corniches tra Nice e Monte-Carlo, la Corniche de l'Esterel, il Verdon da entrambi i lati e poi il Turini, l'Allos, la Cayolle, la Bonette, il Vars e poi sempre più su... sono diventato motociclista e mototurista su quelle strade, con la Guzzi V35 prima e la Cagiva River dopo, quando i suoceri avevano il monolocale a Nice, Le ho percorse e ripercorse mille volte e no me ne stanco mai...
